Here are some tips to help troubleshoot common issues with the Upromise Extension:
- Once installed, the Upromise icon will display in the upper right of your browser window. If this icon is not there, it means that the Upromise Extension is not installed or is not enabled. Check your browser extensions to make sure the Upromise Extension has completed installation and is enabled. Removing the Upromise Extension and reinstalling may be necessary. You may also need to disable other extensions in order to enable the Upromise Extension.
- If the icon is grayed out, it means you are not logged into your Upromise account via the Upromise Extension. Click the icon and log into your Upromise account and the icon should turn from gray to yellow and blue.
- If you navigate to a merchant via Upromise or a BonusMail offer, the Upromise Extension will drop to tell you it is activated but will not display the “Activate” button as tracking was established via our website or email. You can, however, click the Upromise Extension icon to review and apply available coupons.
- If you navigate to a merchant via another website (RetailMeNot, Ebates, etc.), the Upromise Extension will not drop at all. You can, however, click the Upromise Extension icon to review and apply available coupons. Please note that if you are shopping via another coupon site or loyalty program, applying Upromise coupons may cause you to not be credited for your purchase by the other site.
